GTT Development Partners
GTT has contacts to many scientists all around the world. However, there are some with whom we have especially close and formalized links. These are listed below:
With Materials Chemistry, we have a general co-operation contract on the development of data and methods in the field of technical thermochemistry. We collaborate together on research projects with national and European funding.
With CRCT and the FACT group in Montreal we co-develop our common product FactSage, the Windows™ based successor of ChemSage. We also work together on the development of data as needed in our research and development projects.
As a member of SGTE we co-operate with the other members in bi- or multi-lateral projects on the maintenance and development of the SGTE databases. We have also been engaged in the writing and editorial activities of the SGTE Casebook. We are presently in the opening stages of the second edition of this book.
With our colleagues at VTT we co-develop our common product ChemSheet. We also co-operate on the development of particular applications of ChemSheet both on behalf of particular customers and in international scientific products. A special emphasis in this work is put on the combined application of kinetic and thermodynamical aspects of inorganic processes.
With colleagues of SMS Demag, especially Dr. Peter Monheim, we co-operate on the development of the Process Simulation toolkit SimuSage.
With the Spencer group, we have started a co-operation on metal related databases. The first product is a Noble Metal database. A Steel and a Light Metals databases are in preparation. We hope that many more will follow.
